Morrigan Ellis is a debut horror author from Western Canada. She has loved scary stories as long as she can remember, much to the wariness of her family and friends.

Morrigan finds that her characters never listen to her, and unleashing and letting them explore can take the story to wonderfully unusual and disturbing places. Her writing embraces the idea that horror doesn’t have to fit in a particular box, and blending elements of different subgenres can push boundaries to create stories that thrill.

In her spare time, she loves a good board game and a quiet evening stroll. Morrigan has a soft spot for slasher movies and has mastered the art of typing with cats draped over her arms and legs.
